Did you know? On the third Friday of each month, New Frontiers donates 5% of sales to a local nonprofit.
The date for March 2024 is Friday, February 15th, and the recipient is Join-Up International.
Join-Up International is a Solvang based non-profit founded by world-renowned horse trainer Monty Roberts. The Join-Up method of horse training relies on horse and trainer establishing a bond of communication and trust. Using this method, Join-Up created a specific 3-day equine-assisted workshop for Veterans and first responders struggling with PTSD. This program helps Veterans and first responders (and their families) overcome past emotional injuries and learn to trust, communicate emotions, and build resiliency.
Representatives will be here on Friday, February 15th to discuss the work they do for our community.
