Pico De Gallo Salsa Recipe


  •  5 ripe tomatoes
  • 1 bunch cilantro
  • 1 medium white onion
  • 2-5 jalapeño or Serrano chilies,
    adjust according to how hot you like it
  • 1 fresh lime, juiced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Dice tomatoes and onion and put them in a mixing bowl. Rinse cilantro; remove the stems and discard them. Coarsely chop the cilantro leaves and add them to the bowl. Cut the peppers lengthwise and de-vein if you want a more mild heat. Remove the seeds; they can be bitter and have no heat (most of the heat from chilies comes from the vein). Add peppers to bowl, along with lime juice, salt and pepper. Mix it all together and enjoy with New Frontiers Corn Tortilla Chips. Delicioso!
